內地女子涉加重盜竊被捕

2024年7月31日，本局接獲內地女事主舉報，稱被兩名內地男子以協助兌換貨幣為由詐騙，損失28,840元人民幣。

案情顯示，今年7月30日，女事主來澳兌換貨幣以便再與他人進行匯兌，並透過一個兌換貨幣通訊軟件群組表示欲以28,840元人民幣兌換3萬港元現金。其後一名不知名人士透過通訊軟件主動聯絡女事主稱可安排兌換貨幣，二人議定兌換匯率後，女事主與涉案男子在路氹城區一娛樂場內進行交易，並通過對方所提供的二維碼將款項轉帳到其指定電子支付帳戶內。然而，事後涉案男子稱其上線沒有收到轉帳，拒絕交付港元現金予女事主，並立即離開。女事主懷疑被騙，遂報警求助。

本局經濟罪案調查處人員跟進調查，於7月31日在路氹城區一酒店房間截獲涉案男子，並將其帶返本局調查。經查，有強烈跡象顯示涉案男子伙同另一名涉案人藉兌換貨幣詐騙女事主，本局以詐騙（巨額）罪將涉案男子移送檢察院偵辦，並繼續追緝另一名在逃涉案人。

Mainland woman arrested for aggravated theft

On 1st August 2024, the victim was gambling with the involved woman at a casino in Cotai district.  At that time, the victim was wearing a crossbody bag with HKD450,000 worth of cash chips inside, while the involved woman was sitting beside the victim.  After the victim had gambled for around 3 minutes, the involved woman suddenly left without a reason, forthwith the victim discovered that HKD320,000 worth of cash chips inside his crossbody bag were missing.  Suspecting that the involved woman had stolen the chips, the victim reported to the Judiciary Police.

Investigation by the Gaming-related Crimes Division confirmed that the involved woman had stolen HKD320,000 worth of cash chips from the victim’s crossbody bag when he was engrossed in gambling.  She immediately headed to a casino in ZAPE district, while aided by an involved person at large, exchanged the stolen chips to the equivalent amount of cash and fled. 

On the afternoon of the same day, the Judiciary Police intercepted the involved woman in ZAPE district, seizing HKD82,000 of cash, suspected to be illicit proceeds, on her.  The remaining illicit proceeds are still being pursued. 

Based on the investigative results, the Judiciary Police transferred the involved mainland woman to the Public Prosecutions Office with the charge of aggravated theft, while continuing to pursue the remaining involved person at large.

Detida uma mulher do continente por furto qualificado

Em 1 de Agosto de 2024, a vítima jogou com uma mulher num casino do Cotai. Naquela altura, a vítima tinha uma mala a tiracolo que continha fichas no valor de 450.000 HKD e a mulher estava sentada ao seu lado. Depois de a vítima ter jogado cerca de 3 minutos, a mulher saiu subitamente sem qualquer motivo. A vítima deu imediatamente pela falta de 320.000 HKD em fichas guardadas na mala, suspeitou que tinham sido furtados pela mulher e fez queixa à PJ.

Após averiguações feitas pela Divisão de Investigação de Crimes Relacionados com o Jogo, foi confirmado que a mulher aproveitou da oportunidade de que a vítima estava concentrada no jogo, furtou 320.000 HKD em fichas e deslocou-se de seguida a outro casino no ZAPE para as trocar por dinheiro com a ajuda de um cúmplice agora em fuga e foi-se embora.

Naquela mesma tarde, a mulher foi detida no ZAPE, foram encontrados, na sua posse, 82.000 HKD em numerário que se suspeita ser parte do produto do crime. Relativamente ao restante dinheiro furtado, está ainda a ser procurado.

Conforme o que foi apurado, a detida foi presente ao Ministério Público por furto qualificado. A PJ continua à procura de eventuais cúmplices em fuga.
