涉藉典當假錶詐騙 一內地漢落網
本局於2024年9月12日接獲一名押店職員報案，稱當日凌晨一名內地男子到店內典當一枚名錶，雙方以7萬港元交易，其後押店職員對有關腕錶進行詳細檢查時發現其為贋品。
本局經濟罪案調查處人員跟進調查，經鑑定證實有關腕錶為贋品，並於9月14日在路氹城區一酒店房間內截獲涉案內地男子。經查，涉案內地男子曾嘗試到不同押店典當有關腕錶不果，而詐騙所得的其中68,800港元已被其賭敗輸掉。
本局根據調查所得，以詐騙（巨額）罪將涉案內地男子移送檢察院偵辦。
Mainland man arrested for pawning fake watch to commit fraud
On 12th September 2024, the Judiciary Police received a complaint from an employee of a pawnshop, alleging that a mainland man had pawned a luxury watch at the pawnshop in the wee hours of that day. The two parties agreed to conduct the transaction at HKD70,000, yet later when the employee of the pawnshop thoroughly examined the related wristwatch, he discovered that it was fake.
Officers of the Economic Crimes Division of the Judiciary Police followed up on the investigation, and confirmed that the related wristwatch was a fake after verification. On September 14th, the involved mainland man was intercepted inside a hotel guest room in Cotai district. Subsequent to investigation, it was found that the involved mainland man had tried to pawn the related wristwatch at different pawnshops but to no avail. Among all of the fraud proceeds, HKD68,800 had been gambled away.
Based on investigative results, the Judiciary Police transferred the involved mainland man to the Public Prosecutions Office with the charge of fraud (massive amount).
Detido um homem da China continental por ter penhorado um relógio falso
No dia 12 de Setembro de 2024, a PJ recebeu uma denúncia de um funcionário de uma casa de penhores, dizendo que na madrugada anterior, um homem da China continental, tinha penhorar um relógio famoso na loja que foi avaliado 70.000 HKD, e que mais tarde quando o funcionário da loja procedeu a um exame minucioso ao relógio, descobriu que foi um relógio falso.
O pessoal da Divisão de Investigação de Crimes Económicos acompanhou a investigação e após peritagem, confirmou que o relógio era falso e deteve o suspeito num quarto de um hotel do Cotai, no dia 14 de Setembro. Na investigação, apurou-se que o homem tinha tentado penhorar o relógio em diversas lojas de penhores mas não resultou, e que perdeu 68.800 HKD do dinheiro burlado ao jogo.
Conforme o que foi apurado na investigação, o detido foi presente ao Ministério Público por burla (valor elevado).
