兩內地婦分涉巨額詐騙及使用他人身分證明文件落網
2024年10月21日下午，本局接獲治安警察局轉交一宗發生於今年8月中旬的典當詐騙案。案情顯示，10月21日下午，兩名涉案內地女子前往中區一間押店，要求典當一枚聲稱為天然鑽石的鑽石戒指。其後押店職員以專門儀器檢驗後發現有關鑽戒並非天然鑽石，且兩人為今年8月中旬以一枚非天然鑽戒騙去有關押店5萬港元的作案人，當時次名涉案內地女子提供首名涉案內地女子的證件予押店職員進行登記，而有關鑽戒仍未完成檢驗故沒有報案。如今兩人重施故技，押店職員立即報警求助。
本局經濟罪案調查處人員跟進調查，在兩人身上搜獲另一枚同類非天然鑽戒以及2.8萬澳門元，並發現兩人於今年9月曾以同樣手法分別詐騙新口岸區兩間押店3萬港元及2萬港元。涉案合共五枚鑽戒經專家進行鑑定後，證實全部僅為人工合成鑽石。
經查，兩名涉案內地女子承認犯案，供稱涉案鑽戒乃從內地以每枚5,000元人民幣購入，兩人知悉其並非天然鑽石以及蓄意針對押店進行詐騙。
本局根據調查所得，以詐騙（巨額）罪將首名涉案內地女子移送檢察院偵辦，而次名涉案內地女子除上述一罪外，亦涉及使用他人之身分證明文件罪，一併送交檢察院處理。
Two mainland women apprehended for fraud of huge amount and using other’s identification document respectively
On the afternoon of 21st October 2024, the Judiciary Police received from the Public Security Police Force a pawn fraud case that had taken place in mid-August this year. Case details revealed that on the afternoon of October 21st, two involved mainland women had gone to a pawnshop in the Central district, requesting to pawn a diamond ring which they claimed to be natural diamond. Upon examination by the staff of the pawnshop with specialised equipment, the relevant diamond ring was found to be non-natural diamond. In addition, the duo were the perpetrators who had defrauded the relevant pawnshop of HKD50,000 with a non-natural diamond ring in mid-August this year. At that time, the second involved mainland woman had provided the identification document of the first involved mainland woman for the pawnshop staff to conduct registration. Since the examination on the relevant diamond ring was yet to be completed, they did not report it to the police. However, seeing the duo repeated the same trick then, the staff of the pawnshop reported to the police for help immediately.
The Economic Crimes Division personnel of the Judiciary Police followed up the investigation, with another non-natural diamond ring of the same type and MOP28,000 seized on the duo. They were also found to have defrauded 2 pawnshops in the ZAPE district of HKD30,000 and HKD20,000 with the same method in September this year. A total of 5 diamond rings were involved, which, upon examination by the expert, were all confirmed to be just artificial synthetic diamonds.
Upon investigation, the two involved mainland women admitted to their perpetration and confessed that the involved diamond rings had been purchased in the mainland at a price of RMB5,000 each. The duo knew that they were not natural diamonds and intentionally targeted at pawnshops to commit fraud.
Based on investigative results, the Judiciary Police transferred the first involved mainland woman to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offence of fraud (huge amount), while the second involved mainland woman was also transferred to the Public Prosecutions Office for the abovementioned offence, as well as the offence of using other’s identification document.
Detidas duas mulheres do continente por burla de valor elevado e uso de documento de identidade alheio
Na tarde de 21 de Outubro de 2024, a PJ recebeu uma denúncia de burla ocorrida em meados de Agosto, transferida pelo CPSP. Segundo o que foi apurado, na tarde de 21 de Outubro, duas mulheres do continente deslocaram-se a uma loja de penhor na zona central, onde pediram para penhorar um anel de diamante que disseram ser um diamante natural. No entanto, após o exame efectuado pelo funcionário da loja com recurso a um instrumento, descobriu-se que o diamante em causa não era. Além disso, foi verificado que em meados de Agosto, a loja foi alvo de burla por as mesmas duas mulheres com um anel de diamante não natural e sofreu 50.000 dólares de Hong Kong, nessa altura, a segunda mulher do continente envolvida no caso tinha fornecido ao funcionário da loja um documento de identidade da primeira mulher também do continente para fazer o registo. Como ainda não tinha concluido o exame ao respectivo anel de diamante falso, a loja não fez queixa à polícia. Desta vez, quando as duas mulheres voltaram a actuar com o mesmo esquema, o funcionário da loja fez imediatamente queixa à polícia.
O pessoal da Divisão de Investigação de Crimes Económicos acompanhou a investigação e apreendeu um outro anel semelhante de diamante não natural e 28.000 patacas na posse das duas detidas. Apurou-se também que em Setembro deste ano, as duas usaram o mesmo esquema fraudulento e burlaram duas lojas de penhor no ZAPE em 30.000 dólares de Hong Kong e 20.000 dólares de Hong Kong, respectivamente. Após o exame realizado pelo perito, verificou-se que os cinco anéis de diamante envolvidos nos crimes são todos com diamantes sintéticos.
Na investigação, as duas detidas admitiram o crime, alegando que os anéis foram comprados na China continental, cada um custou 5.000 RMB. As duas sabiam que os anéis não são de diamantes naturais e admitiram ter intenção de burlar as lojas de penhor.
Conforme o que foi apurado na investigação, a primeira detida foi presente ao Ministério Público por burla de valor elevado, e a segunda foi presente ao Ministério Público por burla de valor elevado e uso de documento de identidade alheio.
