內地漢涉高利貸及剝奪他人行動自由被拘
2024年12月6日清晨，內地男事主在路氹城區一酒店房間內向涉案內地男子及多名在逃涉案人借款20萬港元賭博，條件為需還款20.5萬港元、每當賭局以8點勝出時須抽取投注額五成作利息，以及簽署借據。事主於賭博過程中被抽取約7萬港元利息，同日中午賭敗後即被涉案內地男子及其同黨跟隨返回酒店房間追收欠款，期間乘對方不察通知家人協助報警。
本局博彩罪案調查處人員接報後展開調查，成功在上述房間救出事主並截獲涉案內地男子。
本局根據調查所得，以為賭博的不法借貸罪及剝奪他人行動自由罪將涉案內地男子移送檢察院偵辦，並繼續追緝其餘在逃涉案人。
Mainland man arrested for involvement in usury and deprivation of other’s freedom of movement
Early in the morning of 6th December 2024, the mainland male victim borrowed HKD200,000 for gambling from the involved mainland man and multiple involved persons at-large inside a hotel guest room in Cotai district, on the conditions that he had to repay HKD205,000, 50% of the wager of each winning game at 8 points had to be withdrawn as interest, and an IOU had to be signed. Around HKD70,000 of interest had been withdrawn during the gambling process. It was until noon of the same day when he had gambled away all the money, the victim was forthwith followed by the involved mainland man and his accomplices back to the hotel room for the repayment of his debt, during which the victim notified his family to assist in calling the police when the involved persons were unaware.
Upon receipt of the report, officers of the Gaming-related Crimes Division of the Judiciary Police launched investigation and successfully rescued the victim from the aforementioned room, with the involved mainland man intercepted.
Based on investigative results, the Judiciary Police transferred the involved mainland man to the Public Prosecutions Office with the charges of practicing gambling-related usury and deprivation of other’s freedom of movement, while continuing to pursue the remaining involved persons at large.
Detido um homem da RPC por usura e sequestro
Na madrugada de 6 de Dezembro de 2024, um homem da RPC, a vítima, pediu um empréstimo de 200.000 HKD para jogar a outro homem, também da RPC, e a outros cúmplices em fuga, num quarto de hotel do Cotai, na condição de devolver 205.000 HKD, tinha que pagar como juros 50% do valor de cada aposta que ganhasse com 8 pontos e assinar um talão de empréstimo. Nas apostas, foram-lhes cobrados cerca de 70.000 HKD de juros e naquela tarde, a vítima, perdeu tudo, o homem e os cúmplices seguiram-no até ao quarto para pedir o pagamento, a vítima aproveitou a distracção daqueles indivíduos e pediu aos seus familiares para chamar a polícia.
O pessoal da Divisão de Investigação de Crimes Relacionados com o Jogo investigou o caso e conseguiu encontrar a vítima naquele quarto assim como deteve o suspeito.
Conforme a investigação, o detido foi presente ao MP por empréstimo ilícito para jogo e sequestro. A PJ continua à procura dos outros cúmplices em fuga.
