女子涉不法匯兌被拘
2024年12月26日，本局有組織罪案調查處人員在路氹城區一酒店進行針對不法匯兌的巡查行動。期間，發現兩名人士行為有異。經現場監視，發現涉案女子與一名內地男子一同操作手機，隨後進入旁邊的餐廳。涉案女子將銀行卡交給內地男子查看並操作手機，並在確認人民幣到帳後，將數個籌碼交給內地男子，兩人分別離開。
本局人員立即上前截查兩人。調查顯示，涉案女子在澳門從事非法兌換活動，以19,600元人民幣匯兌2萬港元籌碼，以賺取300元人民幣利益。
經調查後，在涉案女子身上搜獲作案備用的52,100港元籌碼，以及內地男子與涉案女子不法匯兌所得的2萬港元籌碼，並予以扣押助查。
本局根據調查所得，以經營為賭博的不法匯兌罪將涉案女子移送檢察院偵辦。
Woman nabbed for involvement in illegal currency exchange
On 26th December 2024, personnel of the Organized Crime Division of the Judiciary Police conducted a patrol operation targetting illegal currency exchange at a hotel in the Cotai district. During the course, two individuals acting suspicious were found. Based on on-site surveillance, the involved woman and a mainland man were found operating their mobile phones together and entered an adjacent restaurant subsequently. The involved woman showed the mainland man a bank card and operated her phone. Having confirmed that the amount in RMB had been transferred into the account, she handed a few chips to the mainland man. The duo left separately.
Personnel of the Judiciary Police went over to intercept the duo immediately. Investigation revealed that, the involved woman had engaged in an illegal currency exchange activity in Macao, exchanging RMB19,600 for HKD20,000 in chips, thereby earning a profit of RMB300.
After investigation, HKD52,100 in chips prepared for crime perpetration from the involved woman, as well as the HKD20,000 worth of chips, exchanged illegally between the mainland man and the involved woman, were seized to assist in investigation.
Based on investigative findings, the Judiciary Police transferred the involved woman to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offence of operating illegal currency exchange for gambling.
Detida uma mulher por câmbio ilegal
No dia 26 de Dezembro de 2024, o pessoal da Divisão de Investigação e Combate ao Banditismo, num hotel do Cotai, iniciou uma operação de combate específico às actividades de troca de dinheiro. Na qual descobriu duas pessoas que tinham um comportamento anómalo. Foram detectados, no local, uma mulher e um homem do continente que estavam a utilizar telemóveis e depois entraram num restaurante aí perto. A mulher entregou um cartão bancário ao homem para verificar o número e digitar no telemóvel, depois de confirmar a recepção dos RMB, entregou várias fichas ao homem e os sairam separadamente.
O nosso pessoal interceptou logo essas duas pessoas. A mulher admitiu o crime e disse que praticava câmbio ilegal em Macau, trocava 19.600 RMB para 20.000 HKD em fichas e podia assim ganhar 300 RMB como recompensa.
Durante a investigação foram apreendidas na posse da detida fichas no valor de 52.100 HKD que iriam supostamente ser utilizadas no crime e 20.000 HKD em fichas para trocar com o homem.
Com base no que foi apurado, a mulher foi presente ao MP por exploração de câmbio ilícito para jogo.
