涉為賭博的不法借貸 五內地男女被拘
2024年12月28日，本局接獲路氹城區一娛樂場通知，指一名男子向他人借取高利貸賭博。案情顯示，事主於當日中午向四名涉案內地男子借取50萬港元賭博，條件為每當賭局勝出時須抽取投注額百分之二十五作利息，以及簽署借據。四人隨即將事主帶到涉案娛樂場與其內地女同黨會合，並由其中一名涉案內地男子負責為事主投注，事主於賭博過程中被抽取約5萬港元利息，未幾雙方因投注額問題發生爭執，五名涉案內地男女趁機逃去，其後被本局博彩罪案調查處刑偵人員於娛樂場內悉數截獲。
本局根據調查所得，以為賭博的不法借貸罪將五名涉案內地男女移送檢察院偵辦。
Five mainlanders arrested for illicit money lending for gambling
On 28th December 2024, the Judiciary Police was notified by a casino in the Cotai district that a man had borrowed usurious loan for gambling. Case details revealed that at noon on that day, the victim had borrowed HKD 500,000 from the 4 involved mainland men for gambling on condition that 25% of the stake had to be withdrawn as interest upon each winning game and signing an IOU. The quartet then immediately brought the victim to the involved casino to join their female accomplice with one of the involved mainland men responsible for placing the bets for the victim. HKD 50,000 had been withdrawn from the victim as interest during the course of gambling, and the two parties soon had a dispute over the stake. The five involved mainlanders took the opportunity to flee, but were all intercepted in the casino by criminal investigators of Gaming-related Crimes Division of the Judiciary Police.
Based on investigative findings, the Judiciary Police transferred the five involved mainlanders to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offence of illicit money lending for gambling.

Em 28 de Dezembro de 2024, fomos informado por um casino do Cotai, de que um homem tinha pedido um empréstimo a juros altos para jogar no casino. Segundo as declarações, esse homem, a vítima deste caso, naquela tarde, pediu dinheiro emprestado a quatro homens do continente, no montante de 500.000 HKD, para jogar no casino, as condições para obter o dinheiro eram, por cada jogada ganha tinha de pagar 25% da aposta, como juros, e tinha de assinar uma talão de empréstimo. As quatro pessoas levaram-no para um casino, onde encontrou uma mulher do continente, cúmplice dos quatro, um deles fazia apostas pela vítima, durante o jogo foram lhe retirados cerca de 50.000 HKD de juros. Pouco depois começaram a discutir pela questão do montante a apostar, os cinco fugiram do local, mas foram detidos dentro do casino pelos investigadores da Divisão de Investigação de Crimes Relacionados com o Jogo.
Com base no resultado da investigação, os detidos foram presentes ao Ministério Público por empréstimo ilícito para jogo.
