警民關係研究組
警民關係研究組為社區警務及公共關係處屬下的工作小組，直接向司法警察局領導負責，主要職責為收集各類與警民關係相關的訊息，評估警民關係中出現的問題，及時向領導反映情況、提出改善警民關係的建議，以便局長作出相關的決策。另一方面，研究組也提供有關司法警察局執法方面的簡單法律諮詢和法律宣傳，充分利用社會力量，實現警民良性互動，從而達至協助本局執法工作的目的。

The Police-Community Relations Research Group is subordinate to the Community Policing and Public Relations Division while directly reports to the Directorate of the Judiciary Police. The major responsibilities of the group are to gather information regarding police and community relations and to assess the issues arising between both parties, to report the situations to the Directorate in a timely manner, and to provide recommendations that improve police-community relations, so that the Director can make corresponding decisions. On the other hand, work developed by this group also covers simple legal consultation and promotion of legal materials related to law enforcement actions of the Judiciary Police. These activities are intended to fully utilize the strength of the society, to materialize positive police-community interaction, so as to achieve the objective of providing assistance to the Judiciary Police's law enforcement work.
O Grupo de Estudo das Relações entre a Polícia e a População está integrado na Divisão de Ligação entre Polícia e Comunidade e Relações Públicas, sob a tutela directa da Direcção da PJ, compete ao Grupo essencialmente recolher todos os tipos de informações relativas às relações entre a Polícia e a População, proceder à avaliação dos problemas que vão surgindo entre as duas partes, transmitindo a realidade de forma célere à Direcção da PJ, bem como apresentar propostas sobre o melhoramento das relações entre a Polícia e a População, para facilitar a tomada de decisões estratégicas por parte da Direcção. Por outro lado, o trabalho deste Grupo, abrange ainda a promoção de consultas simples e divulgação jurídica acerca da execução da lei por parte da PJ, procura-se assim recorrer tanto quanto possível à força da sociedade a fim de pôr em prática uma real interacção positiva, tendo por objectivo dar apoio à nossa Polícia na execução da lei.
